This budget belting is appox 183cm long and 5mm in diameter. There are some treadle cabinets and machines which perform better with a slightly thinner belt. These belts are supplied to me precut in 183cm lengths with the staple attached. Fitting instructions included.

Oak tan Leather Industrial Belting 7.5mm (5/16") For treadle powered (185cm) and motor driven (110cm) or to any ordered lentgh requied (I recieve it in 30m rolls) with staple supplied. Spare stapels are available (see price list). Full 30m rolls may be ordered but there will be a waiting time.

Being made of leather, this is the one part which will need to be replaced every decade or thereabouts; simply cut to size and use an awl or a nail to create a hole, insert the joiner staple, then crimp down with a pair of pliers.For a full tutorial for fitting a belt click here |
